Congratulations to Matt Norris after winning gold at the Brighton BJJ Open today Saturday 21st august. Matt won his weight division all fights won by submission.
Due to a recurring back injury Matt was unable to enter the absolute category which Matt was understandably disappointed by.
Paul how was drawn against a four stripe white belt and was unfortunate to get not get the result he would have liked in his first competition. Paul had put up a good fight but was unable to finish the more experienced opponent but gave it his best shot. Paul has taken away with him competition experience which will help him progress in BJJ and would have gained him confidence for future competitions.
