Now that Christmas has gone, i’m sure you’ll be ready to shed those extra pounds that you’ve put on over the Christmas period.
Training resumes this Monday 4th Jan usual times.

The competition season kicks of right away with the European BJJ Open 28th 29th 30th 31st Jan in Lisbon Portugal.Matt Norris and Russel Allchin will be representing Gracie Barra Channel Islands,Matt Norris will be fighting as a purple belt this time round as Braulio Estima had awarded Matt his purple belt at the end of the Europeans last year, Russel Allchin will be fighting at blue belt.
While most of you had your feet up and over the festive period Matt and Russ continued to train hard for this up and coming comp putting in as many sessions as possible, as always we wish them both the best of luck in Portugal.

Two more representing our club will be Liam McGeary and Joe Mckenna this time in MMA at the Battle Of Jersey on the May 8th which takes place at Fort Regent.They will be fighting semi pro rules at this event against opponents from Ireland.Both Liam and Joe are looking forward to there respective fights and are keen to start their training to prepare for this event. We’ll post an update on there progress in due course.
